Thursday 28 February 2019 saw over 500 guests descend on The Assembly Rooms in Bath for a glittering celebration of the best of Bath at The Bath Life Awards, sponsored by The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa. Representing The Apartment, Bath we were excited and humbled in equal measure to be in such high profile company, shortlisted in this year's Leisure & Tourism category, sponsored by housebuilder and property development group Kersfield.
It was a pleasure to meet so many brilliant Bath businesses, including the movers and shakers from the likes of Truespeed, Novia Financial and Deep Blue Sky and enjoy the notably inspiring winners' speeches from Taste of Bath, Freshford Church School and Eddie's Street Cuts.
Whilst we didn't win, it was such an honour to be named a finalist and enormous congratulations must go to our well-deserved category winners, Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park, celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.
Many thanks to Greg & Jane Ingham, Pat White, Steph Dodd and the whole Bath Life Awards team from Media Clash for delivering such a wonderful event.
And we also wanted to share that, during the Awards ceremony, we were delighted to receive a booking from some lovely future guests based in San Fransisco - reminding us that giving visitors to Bath a personal welcome, a curated stay and a memorable experience remains what we do best!
